Gender Without Rival

Hello friends!

Summer has kept us all away from our screens it seems - myself included! This is a wonderful thing. If you do get the chance to read chapter six - Gender Without Rival - please share your thoughts here by commenting. I grew up attending a conservative Baptist Church - and I've discussed the issue of the roles of men and women many times. I appreciate this quote from this chapter - "Male and female were created to be separate in expression but never to be divided in purpose." I do love acknowledging what is unique about men and women - while at the same time building unity in heart and purpose for the Kingdom of God. What were your thoughts?
